Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated July 11, 2026. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out activities that are not permitted on Momentum OS, operated by Momentum Support Co-operation LTD. It forms part of and is incorporated into the Terms of Service at /terms, and applies to every user and workspace.
1. General principle
You may use Momentum OS only for lawful business purposes, in line with applicable laws, telephony and messaging rules, privacy and consent requirements, and these terms. You are responsible for the conduct of your users, agents, contractors, and anyone using your workspace.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use the service to store, send, or process content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or that exploits or endangers minors.
You must not misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the service to deceive, defraud, or run schemes such as phishing or malware distribution.
3. Spam, messaging, and communications abuse
You must not send unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or calls, or any communication that breaches anti-spam, telemarketing, or electronic-communications laws. You must obtain and honour the consents required for the channels you use and provide valid opt-out mechanisms.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate suppression lists and for respecting do-not-contact and do-not-call requirements applicable to your recipients.
4. Security violations
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, other workspaces, or any system or data; probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorisation; interfere with or disrupt service integrity or performance; or circumvent authentication, rate limits, or usage controls.
You must not upload malicious code, or use the service to launch attacks against any third party. Responsible-disclosure reports are welcome as described in the Security Overview at /security.
5. Data and privacy responsibilities
You must have the rights and lawful basis needed to process the personal data you place in the service, including employee, customer, and identity-document data, and must not upload data you are not authorised to process. Special-category data requires appropriate additional safeguards.
You must not use the service in a way that would cause us to breach data-protection law or our own commitments to other customers.
6. Resource and integrity limits
You must not use the service in a way that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on infrastructure, resells or sublicenses access without authorisation, or scrapes or bulk-extracts data in violation of these terms. Plan allowances and fair-use rules are described at /plan-limits-and-fair-use.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and, where appropriate, remove content, throttle or suspend access, or terminate accounts. Serious or illegal activity may be reported to the relevant authorities. Where practicable we will give notice, but we may act immediately to protect users, third parties, or the platform.
